Terms of use

Plain terms for a simple app. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
1. Who we are
Nala Tracker is made and run by:
Schwaner Apps & SoftwareCVR 46027752
Magleparken 12 st. 21, 2750 Ballerup, Denmark
support@nalatracker.app
In these terms, “we” and “us” means that business, and “you” means the person using the app. By using Nala Tracker you agree to these terms. They apply together with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to the app as downloaded from the App Store. Where the two differ about the app itself, Apple’s agreement applies; these terms cover the service behind it.
2. What Nala Tracker is — and is not
Nala Tracker is a tool for recording your body weight and seeing its trend over time. It is not a medical device and does not give medical, nutritional or health advice. Nothing in the app — including the trend, the projections, and anything Nala says — is a diagnosis, a recommendation or a substitute for a professional. Talk to a doctor before making decisions about your health.
If your relationship with food or your weight is causing you distress, please reach out to someone who can help. The app’s Settings screen links to an eating-disorder support service.
You must be at least 16 to use Nala Tracker.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple Account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to Nala Tracker as you. One account is for one person. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
4. The subscription
- Nala Tracker requires a subscription. There is one product with everything in it, offered monthly (US price$0.99) or yearly (US price $9.99). The price in your country is the one the App Store shows you before you buy, including any local tax.
- New subscribers who are eligible get a 7-day free trial. The App Store tells you before you subscribe whether you are eligible. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
- Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in the app (Settings → Subscription) or in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms, including any right of withdrawal you have under consumer law. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves because we never take your payment.
- If we ever change the price, existing subscribers will be told in advance through the App Store, as Apple’s rules require, and we will explain the reason on this website. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
5. Your data
Your weigh-ins are yours. You give us permission to store, sync and process them only so that we can provide the app to you, as described in our privacy policy. You can export them at any time (Settings → Export as CSV) and delete them by deleting your account.
6. Using the service fairly
Please do not try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the security of the service, access anyone else’s data, or use the app in a way that breaks the law. We may suspend or close an account that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
7. Features and the roadmap
Subscribers help decide what we build next, as described on our roadmap page. That is a promise about how we set priorities, not a guarantee that any particular feature will be built or by when. We may improve, change or remove features, but we will not take away a core feature you are paying for — logging, the trend chart, your history, export or account deletion — without telling you in advance.
8. Availability, and if we stop
The app works offline, and we aim to keep syncing available at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If we ever decide to shut Nala Tracker down, we will tell subscribers at least 30 days in advance, stop renewals, and keep export working until the service closes.
9. Liability
We build Nala Tracker carefully, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on what the app shows, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for intent or gross negligence — or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We may end these terms if you seriously break them, or if we close the service as described in section 8.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please write to us first at support@nalatracker.app — most problems are solved in one email. You can also complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) throughnaevneneshus.dk.
